Bars, Dining, Places, Hotels in Manila

Probably most of us living or working in Manila or in greater Manila haven't been to some really nice places because perhaps we are not aware those kinds of places exists.. Or these will help someone who's planning to have a date for the first time or nth time, or share a fun and memorable time with his family or friends. Or those who want to make their stay here in Manila a worthwhile one,either as a tourist, a "balikbayan" or as a businessman on a business trip. Well, I've been to some of these places and still planning to go to those I haven't been to.

In case you want to spend a special occasion for a day or two outside your home or plan to visit Manila, you can check out the following hotels:

Ping Yang- A chinese cuisine, specialties are dimsum and hotpot at Malate Manila. A thumbs up for me if you want to really spoil your stomach with seafood, meat and fresh vegetables.

Tongyang- an eat all you can hotpot restaurant in Pan Pacific Bldg, Malate, Manila.

Emerald Chinese Restaurant- great Chinese at Filipino cuisine at affordable prices located along Roxas Blvd.

A must see places in Manila:

Manila Ocean Park- view a large variety of Southeast Asian fishes, invertebrates and sharks in this oceanarium, the country's first and largest aquarium facility. Behind Quirino Grand Stand, Roxas Blvd., Manila

SM Mall of Asia- Asia's largest shopping complex. Whatever product or service you're looking for, rest assured you'll most likely find it here.

Robinsons Place Manila- A seven level world class shopping mall, Pedro Gil St., Malate Manila,

Malate- No other place in Metro Manila can be more Bohemian, colorful or wild than this formerly genteel and posh neighborhood. This is a top nightlife area.

San Agustin Church- the country's oldest church at Intramuros.

San Sebastian Church- An architectural gem! Asia's only all-steel church and the 2nd structure of its kind in the world after the Eiffel Tower. Located at Plaza del Carmen, Quiapo Manila.

CCP- Cultural Center of the Phils
.- famous for Philippine performing arts.

MalacaƱang Museum- devoted to the history of the Phil. presidential palace.

Museo Pambata- fun museum about history and anatomy. Located at Roxas Blvd. cor South drive, Manila.

National Art gallery- housed the best and most important examples of Phil. visual arts. P. Burgos St., Manila.

Manila Zoo - place of different animals to visit with your kids
